I want to share the story of our beloved dog Terrik. The little white spotted ball grew into a strong and impressive dog, as befits his fighting breed.

In 2017, my brother went abroad to work in order to help our father, a pensioner, and the dog. A year later, our father suddenly passed away, and Terrik stayed with his body for more than two days until my brother realized that our father wasn’t answering his calls.

After the funeral, my brother had to quickly return to work abroad, and there was no time to arrange the documents to transport Terrik. So the dog was taken to our mother and grandmother to an apartment in a high-rise building. It was like bringing a wild Mowgli into civilization.
It was difficult for my mother: teaching Terrik to walk calmly on a leash, not to jump at every passerby or animal. She went through many adventures with him: flying, falling after him, rescuing both him and others from his antics. But her love and care did their work. Terrik became a calm and well-behaved dog, even more beautiful.

I fell in love with Terrik at first sight, even though I was never his actual owner. After he passed away, all of us — my mom, my brother, and I — cried for three days. It happened shortly after my grandmother’s death, and then our dear Terrik left us too.
We decided to cremate Terrik, just like we did with my grandmother, though in different companies. I was truly impressed by the quality of services provided for animals. When they came to take Terrik, they placed him in a black zippered bag and then into a box.
We received two videos: one confirming that our beloved dog had arrived safely, and another one right before the cremation started, so we could be certain it was really our Terrik.

Special thanks to the manager, Anton, for his understanding, support, and calm, comforting voice during such a difficult time.
