Our mom always dreamed of having her ashes scattered somewhere by the sea, a place where she felt truly happy. After her passing, we learned about this wish from her friend and decided to fulfill it. We knew that the perfect place would be the hotel in Sicily where we spent our best vacation back in 2018. However, obtaining permission from local authorities to transport the ashes turned out to be incredibly difficult, which pushed us to look for an alternative.
